Daikin Applied is seeking a District Operations Manager for our district in New Orleans. This in-office role (Rose, LA) with on-site work as needed requires driving safety programs, managing projects, and leading a team of technicians to deliver seamless service and support.

You will collaborate with sales and account managers to optimize quotes and ensure customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate brings 6+ years in the HVAC field, 4+ years of supervision, and a track record of leading business

Responsibilities

• Administer safety programs and ensure job site safety compliance.
• Support sales through quotes and estimation; approve scope, labor hours, and material.
• Manage projects: timelines, personnel, equipment orders, and customer signoffs.
• Oversee quotations and ensure timely quotes to customers.
• Provide weekly status, revenue, and warranty reports to the District Manager.
• Collaborate with Account Managers and District Manager to resolve customer issues.
• Lead technicians to generate pull-through service and improve customer care.

Come be a part of an exciting journey at Daikin Applied, where innovation and excellence drive our every endeavor!Location: In office (Rose, LA 70087) and on job sites as neededYour Responsibilities:Administer safety programs, monitor compliance with job site safety, safety training, safety documentation, auditing, and reporting.Supports sales through involvement in job quotation and estimationApprove estimates for scope of work, labor hours and material. content, assess profit risk of jobs, control material and labor costs, and provide feedback to the District Manager.Establish project timelines and meet with customers to communicate and coordinate project schedule.Manage projects, assign personnel, oversee ordering of equipment and material, and assure that proper customer signoffs are secured per corporate policy requirements.Oversee quotation of call-in work, transactional sales, and assign work as needed to ensure that quotes are delivered to customers on a timely basis.Provide consistent interface with current customer base and establish effective working relationships in order to identify additional selling opportunities.Ensure that maintenance contract commitments are fulfilled and inspections completed on time while providing input to Service Coordinators on scheduling activity of technicians.Support the district under direction of District Manager.Work with the technician team to generate pull-through service and repair work on existing house accounts.Manage Tech Tip program and lead customer care initiatives.Work with Account Managers and District Manager in order to resolve customer issues, including customer visits.Provide weekly job status, revenue, and warranty recovery report to DM.Your Qualifications:Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience.6+ years of related work experience in the commercial HVAC industry or related field.4+ years of prior experience managing technicians or employees in a similar role through, including direct or indirect leadership.Extensive knowledge of HVAC design, systems, applications, and energy saving solutions.Demonstrated success in strategically leading business units.Your Benefits - Daikin Applied offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements:Non-logoed company vehicle with most expenses paid.Multiple medical insurance plan options + dental and vision insurance.401K retirement plan with employer match.Paid time off and company paid holidays.Paid sick time in accordance with the federal, state and local law.Tuition Reimbursement after 6 months of continuous service.Work visa sponsorship is not available for this positionThe typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $81,000 to $136,000 in New Orleans. In addition, this position is eligible for a Sales Incentive Plan. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Employment is contingent upon successful completion of pre-employment requirements, including verification of employment history, education, background screening, and drug testing where permitted by law.
