Job summary

The Gardner School seeks a District Support Director to provide operational and leadership support across multiple campuses in Massachusetts. Reporting to the District Manager, this role ensures consistent execution, strong leadership, and a high-quality experience for children, families, and staff.

You will partner with Executive School Directors to cover leadership gaps, support enrollment initiatives, and drive district priorities, with exposure to future Director opportunities as readiness

Qualifications

• Must meet Massachusetts EEC requirements to be Director II qualified at time of hire.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in early childhood education environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership coverage and operational support across district schools.
• Support schools during transitions, leaves, staffing gaps, enrollment growth, onboarding periods.
• Partner with Executive School Directors to support day-to-day operations and ensure alignment with standards.
• Maintain consistency in operational execution and family experience across district schools.
• Support enrollment-related activities, including tours and lead management.
• Assist with budgeting, labor management, and district financial priorities.
• Coordinate scheduling, staffing ratios, and daily operations.
• Lead special projects and high-volume periods with district-wide impact.
