The Gardner School is seeking a District Support Director to provide district-wide operational leadership across multiple campuses. The role partners with Executive School Directors to ensure consistent execution, strong leadership, and a high-quality experience for children and families.

Ideal candidates bring leadership experience in early childhood education, a Bachelor's degree, and the ability to travel between district schools.

Qualifications

• Must meet Massachusetts EEC requirements to be Director II qualified at the time of hire.
• Bachelor's degree in early childhood education, business, or a related field preferred.
• Previous leadership experience in an early childhood education environment required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to build relationships across multiple school teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership coverage and operational support across district schools.
• Support schools during leadership transitions, leaves, staffing gaps, enrollment growth, onboarding periods, or other operational needs.
• Partner with Executive School Directors and district leadership to ensure day-to-day operations meet Gardner School standards.
• Help maintain consistent operational execution and a positive family experience across district schools.
• Coordinate classroom coverage and staffing to maintain safe, effective operations.
• Identify operational gaps and drive follow-through on priorities.
• Support licensing compliance and safety standards in Massachusetts.
• Assist with enrollment activities, tours, family follow-up, and lead management.
• Assist with budgeting, labor management, and district financial priorities.
• Support scheduling, ratio management, and daily operational organization.
• Provide leadership support during high-volume periods and special projects.
