Job summary

Canteen North America is seeking a District Manager to oversee daily operations across Vending, Office Coffee, and Ave. C service lines. You will partner with the Regional VP to drive profitability, service excellence, and efficiency while leading customer service, warehouse, and technical teams.

The role requires 5–7 years in vendor or operations management, strong leadership, and solid financial acumen. Bachelor’s degree preferred; travel and multi-unit oversight included.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of vendor or operations management experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Financial acumen and experience managing P&L.
• Multi-unit management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead all operational functions across customer service, warehouse, and technical service teams.
• Manage P&L performance in partnership with the Regional VP, ensuring financial targets are met.
• Develop and execute action plans to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and align operations with strategic goals.
• Oversee labor planning and staffing to match business volume and productivity standards.
• Apply Lean principles to drive continuous improvement and eliminate inefficiencies.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and retention, responding to client needs and growth opportunities.
• Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and engagement across departments.
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, HR, and Supply Chain to ensure operational excellence.
• Analyze performance metrics to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
