Job summary

Jump Start Stores in Liberal, Kansas is seeking a District Manager to plan and oversee the daily operations of stores within the assigned district. You will ensure goals and objectives are achieved and drive success across the district.

The role requires strong leadership, financial acumen, and collaboration with HR, finance, logistics, marketing, and sales to meet production and sales targets. This position is full-time with on-call responsibilities after hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or related field preferred.
• At least five years of related management experience required.
• Strong managerial and supervisory abilities; detail-oriented.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and store software systems.
• Ability to interpret financial data to set production goals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee daily store operations within assigned district.
• Organize and oversee staff schedules.
• Conduct performance evaluations; manage disciplinary actions as needed.
• Plan and organize daily production and operations activities.
• Coordinate with HR, finance, and logistics to support operations.
• Determine labor needs and assist with budgeting for operations.
• Coordinate with marketing and sales on pricing and promotions.
• Develop and update the organization’s operations manual and policies.
• Hours of operation are 8a to 5p Monday thru Friday, on call 24/7/365 for emergencies.
