Job summary

O'Neal Steel has an opening for a (2nd Shift) Material Handler at our Waterloo, IA facility. The role involves loading and unloading materials in a warehouse, operating forklifts, cranes, and other equipment, and ensuring accurate readings of measurements while delivering quality service to customers.

The position requires 2nd shift (2:00PM-10:00PM), Monday to Friday, with overtime as needed. A background check and drug test are required upon offer.

Qualifications

• Ability to use a variety of hand tools including grinder, bander, drill, hammer, pliers, screwdriver, wrench, etc.
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure.
• Provide high quality work to internal and external customers as related to the output of their position.

Responsibilities

• Operate a wide variety of material handling equipment including, but not limited to, forklift, overhead crane, stacker crane, side loader, yard dog, etc.
• Use a variety of hand tools including, but not limited to, grinder, bander, drill, hammer, pliers, screwdriver, wrench, etc.
• Accurately read a tape measure.
• Provide high quality work to all internal and external customers as related to the output of their position.
