Montgomery Public Schools seeks a Chief Operations Officer to lead district services including transportation, facilities, safety, and capital projects from the Central Office. The role requires strategic planning, strong leadership, and oversight of annual budgeting.

The position is exempt and full-time, with a 240-day, 12-month work schedule under Schedule 64 Level 7. The candidate will report to the Superintendent and collaborate across departments to advance the district's mission.

Qualificações

• Master’s Degree or higher from an accredited institution.
• 3–5 years of successful administration preferred.
• Expert knowledge of administrative computer applications with hands-on large-scale project implementation experience.
• Experience with Maintenance, Facilities and Capital Projects.
• Knowledge of personnel evaluation protocol and other personnel procedures.
• Ability to plan, organize and prioritize; communicate and work cooperatively with diverse audiences.
• Ability to analyze, interpret, and use data in decision-making.
• Ability to provide leadership to assigned personnel.
• Ability to be flexible and manage multiple tasks.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee Transportation, Child Nutrition, School Safety/Security, Capital Projects, Facilities Management, Technology and Athletics.
• Coordinate short-range and long-range program development and administration.
• Collaborate to identify district needs using demographic studies, historical data, and curriculum plans.
• Prepare an annual financially feasible district budget for Board review and approval.
• Coordinate program budgets; monitor funds and accountability of programs and services.
• Supervise personnel, conduct performance appraisals, and make recommendations for employment actions.
• Prepare or oversee all required reports and maintain records.
• Provide leadership for assigned areas of responsibility and promote the district's vision and mission.
• Collaborate with local, state, and federal agencies on grants and funds; monitor policy implications.
• Attend to long-term financial needs and district policy; propose board policies as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the superintendent
