The State of Florida is seeking an administrative staffer for the Crestview office of State Representative Nathan Boyles. The role supports administrative and public relations tasks focused on implementing Legislature policies and procedures, coordinating with staff, and managing district operations.

Qualifications

• An Associate’s Degree from an accredited college or university and two years of administrative experience; or a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Professional administrative experience can substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required college education.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge and application of House Rules, Protocol, House-specific Applications, House Administrative Policies and the Legislature’s Joint Policies and Procedures.
• Constituent Management
• Day-to-day Operations, such as coordinating with HousePay Accountants and managing the district office
• Required Legislative Filings
• Tracks Municipal, County, and Regional Issues Related to the District
• Community and Public Outreach
• Mandatory Trainings as Assigned
