Job summary

SmartStop Self Storage, Inc. is seeking a District Manager for the Atlanta, GA area to lead multiple stores, drive revenue, and coach store teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

The role requires multi-unit retail leadership, strong communication, and the ability to travel within the region. Base pay starts at $90,000 with potential to $120,000, plus quarterly and annual bonuses.

Qualifications

• Must have multi-unit retail sales/service operations leadership experience.
• Proven ability to meet and exceed performance standards.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and motivational skills.
• Proven ability to lead, develop, and coach staff.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects and deal with interruptions.
• Works well under pressure while meeting deadlines.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Annual compensation includes a base pay with bonuses and performance-based incentives.

Responsibilities

• Oversee district store activities and operations impacting customers, staff, and company goals.
• Meet or exceed monthly revenue goals.
• Conduct facility audits to ensure standards.
• Oversee daily staff activities and scheduling; provide coaching and feedback.
• Recruit, interview, and hire new staff.
• Lead by example and coach teams toward a shared vision.
• Travel within the designated area to stores, meetings, and training sessions.
