Job summary

Westport Properties, Inc. is seeking a District Manager to lead and mentor store managers across eleven locations. The role focuses on driving district revenue, occupancy, and profitability while maintaining excellent customer service and operational standards.

You will collaborate with the Regional Director of Operations, manage budgets, conduct monthly audits, and guide strategic initiatives. The position requires travel up to 50% and a strong leadership background in multi-site management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
• Equivalent of 3-5 years work-related experience in retail sales, retail, customer service, sales management and/or multi-unit management.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to perform essential functions.
• Weekend availability may be occasionally required.
• Be flexible and can travel up to 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies to achieve district-level goals, including revenue, occupancy, and profitability targets.
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive culture across your district and ensure effective communication.
• Lead with integrity and guide special projects to enhance operational success.
• Oversee financial performance of each store, monitor KPIs, and implement corrective actions.
• Coach store managers on repairs and maintenance and ensure use of maintenance programs.
• Recruit, train, and evaluate store management staff and support staff.
