Job summary

Westport Properties, Inc. is seeking a District Manager to lead operations across multiple storage locations in California.

You will mentor store managers, supervise performance, and drive revenue, occupancy, and customer satisfaction within your district. Reporting to the Regional Director of Operations, you will manage budgets, review KPIs, coordinate district-wide initiatives, and ensure compliance with company policies while fostering a high-performing team culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
• 3-5 years work-related experience in retail sales, retail, customer service, sales management and/or multi-unit management.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required for essential functions.
• Weekend availability may be occasionally required.
• Be flexible and travel up to 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute district strategies to achieve revenue, occupancy, and profitability targets.
• Mentor and supervise store managers across multiple locations.
• Monitor KPIs and drive financial performance and customer satisfaction across the district.
• Coordinate district initiatives and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Lead talent management, recruitment, and staff development within the district.
