Job summary

Public Storage is seeking a leader to recruit, develop and manage a high-performing customer-facing team across our properties. You will oversee asset maintenance, vendor management, and delinquency reduction efforts while driving service quality and sales growth.

The role emphasizes coaching, analytics, and communication to sustain operational excellence in a Monday–Friday schedule with opportunities for nationwide growth.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership in building, developing and retaining high-performing teams of non-exempt employees in a retail, service, hospitality or related industry
• Proven track record of top tier performance
• Experience managing operational audits and payroll budgets
• Exceptional communication and time management skills
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• 6 work weekends (Saturday or Sunday, not both) per year required during peak season
• Occasional travel required to other markets for support

Responsibilities

• Lead an Engaged Team by recruiting, motivating and retaining a dedicated team of customer facing hourly front-line employees
• Drive team performance with effective communication and coaching on customer service and sales strategies
• Brand Ambassador & Operational Excellence by managing physical assets, vendor management and cleaning standards
• Oversee delinquent tenant processes including auctions by coaching your team to reduce delinquency rates and improve customer retention
• Conduct monthly property audits and ensure safety compliance
• Deliver Outstanding Customer Service by providing a welcoming environment and addressing inquiries promptly
• Grow and Maintain a Robust Business by using analytics to identify trends and implement opportunities in your district
• Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues and team-members
