Job summary

Starbucks Coffee Company is seeking a District Manager to lead a multi-store portfolio, shaping strategies to drive growth, customer experience, and community impact. You will direct store operations, develop Store Managers, and ensure consistent, humanity-forward leadership across the district.

Success requires 5+ years in multi-unit retail leadership, strong coaching and communication skills, and a deep understanding of financial and customer-service goals within a dynamic team environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of retail experience managing 2+ stores, departments or units, P&L, inventory, operations and customer service.
• 5+ years of management experience leading a team of 6+ with coaching and strong communication.
• 3+ years in a customer service oriented role.
• Experience in a multi-unit environment with knowledge of retail operations and financial reporting.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal and problem solving skills.
• Minimum High School or GED; college degree or 4+ years US Military service may substitute for experience.

Responsibilities

• Grow a portfolio of successful Starbucks stores by developing district-level strategies to meet financial, operational and customer-service goals.
• Lead a team of Store Managers, coaching and strengthening leaders as operators and business owners.
• Serve as a resource on customer issues, staffing, store operations, and company policies.
