Job summary

The Lighthouse for the Blind, Inc. seeks a District Manager to lead store operations, supervise staff, and manage multiple contracts including military accounts.

You will oversee budgeting, scheduling, pricing, and inventory control while driving sales and adherence to safety and policy standards. Ideal candidates have supervisory experience in retail or wholesale, strong analytical and organizational skills, and proficiency with MS Office and Excel.

Qualifications

• Associates degree preferred.
• 3 to 5 years in supervisory role in retail, wholesale, or supply operation.
• Fork Lift certification preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs using safe lifting techniques.
• Proficient with MS Office and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Identifies customer requirements by establishing rapport with customers.
• Manage multiple military contracts and establish relationships with Base contract officers.
• Hire, motivates and mentors employees; supervise store operations.
• Schedules team building activities and trains employees on processes and product knowledge.
• Evalue sales reports and assist in achieving financial objectives.
• Maintain inventory records and ensure availability of merchandise and services.
