Job summary

Savers Value Village is hiring a District Manager in Training in Carol Stream, IL. The role starts with a ~15-week training curriculum, after which you transition to a Store Manager role in a single unit and may advance to multi-unit leadership based on performance.

Responsibilities include driving store performance, leading the management team, merchandising and pricing oversight, and ensuring strong customer and donor service while maintaining safety and loss prevention standards.

Qualifications

• Must have previous District multi-unit experience.
• High School diploma; post-secondary degree preferred.
• Consistent track record of delivering top-tier financial results; high level of energy, commitment and passion about the business.
• Strong budget management and aptitude for working with numbers.
• Superior organizational, prioritization and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage store performance in sales, profit, on-site donations, production and productivity to meet annual targets.
• Lead and supervise the management team and oversee staffing, recruitment, training and coaching.
• Audit merchandise and pricing; manage seasonal back stock and merchandising programs; support CDC and community outreach.
• Create Store Operating Plans to drive toward budget and optimize results.
• Coordinate with the Regional Director and ensure exceptional customer/donor service.
• Enforce loss prevention and Safety standards to protect assets.
