Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is onboarding a District Manager-In-Training to develop leadership across multiple housekeeping and environmental services accounts in healthcare facilities. The program lasts about sixteen weeks and combines hands-on and computer-based learning, with mentorship and progression into management roles.

Candidates should have a management-related degree or equivalent, plus experience in healthcare ES supervision.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate a positive attitude with the ability to follow oral and written instructions and perform routine tasks.
• Bachelor’s degree in management or related field preferred; high school diploma required.
• Two years of experience in Environmental Services in a healthcare environment and personnel supervision is desired.
• Capable of leading, directing, and supporting a team in a diverse environment with strong interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills.
• Successful P&L and budgetary management skills.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and travel up to 75% of the time.
• COVID-19 vaccination policies compliance as required by state or customers.

Responsibilities

• Program provides hands-on training and computer-based learning spanning approximately sixteen weeks.
• District Manager-In-Training leads multiple accounts, ensuring policy compliance and service quality.
• Travel up to 75% to manage accounts and participate in regional activities.
