Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is launching a District Manager-In-Training program designed to develop future leaders in environmental services for healthcare facilities.

You will rotate through hands-on and computer-based training, gaining experience in account management, staff leadership, and operational accountability. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in management or related field preferred; a high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of experience in Environmental Services in a healthcare environment and personnel supervision is desired.
• Must be able to complete regulatory compliance courses (sanitation and safety) and identify issues and implement necessary changes.
• Capable of leading, directing, and supporting a team in a diverse environment with highly developed interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills.
• Successful P&L and budgetary management skills
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills with a proven track record of growing accounts.
• Must submit to a Motor Vehicle Check and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Compliance with COVID-19 Vaccination Policies, as required by State, Local, and/or Customers.
• Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
• Must be able to work around cleaning products.
• Willingness to relocate and live in the assigned market.

Responsibilities

• District Manager-In-Training program focuses on hands-on and computer-based training over ~16 weeks.
• Learn to manage multiple accounts in a territory according to policies and requirements.
• Provide leadership, support, and guidance to ensure staff meets Environmental Services quality standards, inventory levels, safety guidelines, and customer service expectations.
• Maintain income and expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment records; assist with payroll and enrollment processes.
• Communicate directives effectively to managers from administrators and operational leadership.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions to ensure a sanitary environment; lead training and quality control procedures.
• Travel up to 75% of time for account/facility visits and regional activities.
• Positively represent HCSG by following instructions and maintaining client, resident, and staff relations.
