Job summary

Blue Rhino, a Ferrellgas company, is seeking a District Manager to lead the district with full P&L ownership and strong focus on safety, operations, and customer relationships. The role is field-based with travel between locations and leadership of district personnel.

You will drive sales growth, expand market share, and ensure compliance with safety standards while developing a high-performing team across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
• DOT or propane gas experience.
• CDL with hazmat endorsement.
• Solid understanding of distribution and dispatching.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on team building.

Responsibilities

• District Leadership & Business Ownership: Take full accountability for the district's P&L, budget management, safety performance, sales growth, and personnel development.
• Field Operations & Customer Interaction: Engage directly with field operations to ensure smooth daily operations and build customer relationships.
• Employee Management & Development: Select, train, and coach district employees, fostering teamwork and high performance.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure district operations comply with safety standards, DOT regulations, and laws.
• Customer Service & Retention: Instill a customer service culture to improve retention and loyalty.
• Sales & Market Expansion: Drive sales growth and expand market share across the district.
