Job summary

Blue Rhino, a Ferrellgas company, is seeking a District Manager to lead a multi-location district with accountability for P&L, safety, and customer retention. This field-based role requires active engagement in operations, sales growth, and team development across Grove City, Twinsburg, and Greensburg areas.

Travel between district locations is required, with emphasis on building strong customer relationships and a performance-driven culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• DOT or propane gas experience is required or preferred.
• CDL with hazmat endorsement is required.
• Solid understanding of distribution and dispatching.
• Solid understanding of expense management concepts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with teamwork focus.
• Applicants must be U.S. Citizens, or have right to work in the U.S., with no sponsorship required.

Responsibilities

• Act as the district's business owner, owning P&L, budget, safety, sales growth and personnel development.
• Engage with field operations to ensure smooth daily operations and strong customer relationships.
• Recruit, train, and coach district staff, fostering teamwork and high performance.
• Ensure safety compliance and DOT regulation adherence across locations.
• Drive sales growth and market expansion while monitoring competitors.
• Set and review location-specific performance goals and provide support.
• Travel between district locations to lead and support operations and teams.
• Inspire and maintain a positive culture focused on accountability and operational excellence.
