Job summary

Blue Rhino, a Ferrellgas company, seeks a District Manager to lead the LOCATION team. This field-based role requires active engagement in operations, customer interactions, and employee development, with travel between locations.

You will own the district’s P&L, safety, sales growth, and team performance, while building strong customer relationships and expanding market share in the region. Travel between district locations is required, and experience in the propane or oil and gas sector is

• Excellent written and verbal communication with an emphasis on team building and developing a positive rapport with employees at all levels and customers.

Responsibilities

• Act as district owner with responsibility for P&L, budget management, safety performance, sales growth, and personnel development.
• Engage with field operations to ensure smooth daily operations, develop customer relationships, and resolve issues to drive satisfaction and retention.
• Select, train, and coach district employees, fostering teamwork, continuous learning, and high performance.
• Ensure district operations comply with safety standards, DOT regulations, and applicable laws; monitor safety performance.
• Instill a customer service culture that emphasizes retention, strong relationships, and expanded market share.
• Drive sales growth within the district, capture new opportunities, and monitor market trends.
• Set and review location-level performance goals, providing support and development opportunities.
• Travel between district locations as needed to ensure operational success and leadership coverage.
• Inspire and motivate the team to embrace opportunities and maintain operational excellence.
