Job summary

Ferrellgas is seeking a District Manager for the Logan, OH area. This field-based leadership role requires owning the district's P&L, budget, safety performance, sales growth, and talent development, with travel between locations to ensure operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

You will lead field operations, manage customer relationships, and drive market expansion while ensuring compliance with safety standards and DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
• CDL with hazmat endorsement is required for the role.
• Experience with DOT or propane gas is beneficial.
• Strong distribution and dispatching knowledge for district operations.
• Solid understanding of expense management concepts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to build rapport.

Responsibilities

• Act as district owner: manage P&L, budget, safety, sales growth, and personnel.
• Engage with field operations to ensure smooth daily operations and customer satisfaction.
• Select, train, and coach district employees to build high-performing teams.
• Ensure safety compliance, DOT regulations, and safety protocols across locations.
• Drive sales growth and market share while monitoring competitor activity.
• Travel between district locations to lead and support operations.
