Job summary

NRG and 2020 Companies invite a District Manager to lead a field team across multiple big-box locations in Illinois. You will train, coach and mentor Energy Pros, drive sales, and ensure excellent customer experiences while meeting district targets.

The role requires travel within the district, strong leadership, and a proven background in retail or sales management, with a path toward regional leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Business degree preferred.
• 3-5 years retail or sales experience required.
• Multi-unit Sales Management experience preferred.
• Demonstrate ethical and professional standards in a business environment.
• Able to travel throughout the District.

Responsibilities

• Oversee management of multiple locations in big box stores.
• Manage a team of Market Managers.
• Motivate a team of Sales Associates (Energy Pros) to engage with consumers about NRG Electricity.
• Demonstrate how to become an Energy Pro.
• Assess client needs and find opportunities to improve energy efficiency.
• Teach your Energy Pro's to uncover consumer desires, deliver catered solutions, and overcome objections.
• Collaborate with your team to accomplish sales goals and celebrate success.
• Deliver superior sales results with an exceptional customer experience.
