Job summary

Ollie’s Bargain Outlet in the United States is seeking a District Loss Prevention Manager to lead shrink reduction and safety across 18–20 stores. You will investigate asset losses, implement training, and manage store security systems while coordinating with the Regional Loss Prevention Manager.

The role requires strong judgment, planning, and communication skills, with a focus on team leadership, safety compliance, and ongoing process improvements to protect our assets and teammates.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Higher education in criminal justice preferred.
• Minimum of three years of experience in loss prevention in a retail service-oriented business.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment.
• Efficient planning, prioritization and implementation of detailed instructions.
• Ability to learn and communicate new information and processes to all associates.
• Outstanding interpersonal and listening skills.
• WZ or Reid interviewing/investigation certification.

Responsibilities

• Investigate reports of asset losses, injuries, or harassment to determine proper facts and execute disciplinary actions.
• Conduct physical security checks to minimize asset loss and maintain CCTV and Alarm systems.
• Train new associates in Asset Protection and safety.
• Create and recommend ideas for increased shortage control and fewer accidents.
• Conduct safety inspections and follow up with correction of safety issues in stores.
• Reinforce Asset Protection and safety awareness by attending store meetings.
• Partner with District Team Leaders to ensure smooth business operations.
• Conduct Operational Risk Assessments per program requirements.
• Use Secure Store Loss Prevention software to detect policy violations and review reports.
• Coach/train Team Leaders and Associates about Shrink and Safety awareness.
• Manage Shrink and safety through company programs and policy reinforcement.
• Oversee inventory movement and reconciliation processes.
• Complete any additional responsibilities as assigned.
