O’Neal Steel in Waterloo, IA is seeking a District Operations Specialist to support daily warehousing tasks, including receiving, inventory control, shop floor coordination, and document retention. Responsibilities include verifying shipments against bills, handling damaged goods, routing inbound shipments, maintaining inventory locations, processing POs/ASNs, and assisting local vendor management.

Requires a high school diploma and 2+ years of warehouse experience; proficiency with Excel, Word

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of warehouse operations experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Verify incoming shipments against bills of ladings and maintain records.
• Reject damaged or incorrect goods and adjust for damages or shortages.
• Receive inbound shuttles and route goods to proper bays.
• Monitor receiving and coordinate with purchased material.
• Review daily receipts and enter POs/ASNs.
• Maintain inventory locations and pick zones; perform stock checks.
