Job summary

Family Dollar is seeking a District Manager to lead 15+ store teams across the assigned area in Williamsport, PA. You will drive profitability, customer service excellence, and a safe, compliant work environment while guiding store managers to achieve business objectives.

You will recruit and develop district leaders, manage budgets, and ensure consistent processes across stores. Travel up to 50% is required to support operations district-wide.

Qualifications

• Required: High School diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Must have 5+ years retail experience with at least 2 years multi-store experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive store profitability and outstanding customer service in the district.
• Oversee merchandising, operations, and expense control programs.
• Lead, coach, and mentor store managers to meet business objectives.
• Foster collaboration, teamwork, and open communication across the district.
• Source, recruit, hire, and develop district store managers.
• Drive sales, profitability, and expense management to meet company goals.
• Implement processes to ensure operational consistency across the district.
• Promote safety, compliance, and regular audits.
• Manage operational budgets and optimize store performance.
• Maintain a positive, respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Champion a customer-first mindset with high, consistent standards.
• Travel up to 50% with overnight stays as needed.
