Dollar Tree Stores is seeking a District Manager in Training to oversee multiple stores within a district from Fort Smith, AR. You will train on-the-job to learn district operations, coach store leaders, and drive performance across each location.

You will travel up to 50% of the time, with opportunities for quarterly bonuses as you meet goals, while supporting a diverse team and communities you serve.

Qualifications

• Leadership and supervisory experience required.
• Experience with merchandising is required.
• Previous recruiting experience is required.
• Excellent communication skills required.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Multi-unit retail management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop store leaders to deliver great shopping experiences.
• Analyze district sales results and trends to increase sales.
• Maintain inventory mix and merchandise presentation to maximize sales.
• Partner with store managers to recruit and train new associates.
• Foster growth and development of associates into leadership roles.
• Manage payroll hours and ensure cash controls.
• Conduct regular store audits and monitor shrinkage.
• Ensure stores are safe, professional, and customer friendly.
• Travel up to 50% with overnight stays to support district ops.
