Engineering Technician IV: $5,587 per month*
Engineering Technician III: $5,008 per month*
Engineering Technician II: $4,505 per month*
Engineering Technician I: $4,131 per month*
* We're looking for someone with all types of knowledge and skill level related to Engineering Technology/Highway Construction skills to join our team! Salary is dependent on experience.

To be considered for an Engineering Technician IV, you must have at least six years of work experience related to the engineering technician duties listed. College-level course work and/or degree in an engineering or related field reflecting the required abilities for this position may be substituted for the required work experience on a year-for-year basis. Materials testing is preferred.
To be considered for an Engineering Technician III, you must have at least four years of work experience related to the engineering technician duties listed.College-level coursework and/or degree in an engineering or related field reflecting the required abilities for this position may be substituted for the required work experience on a year-for-year basis. Materials testing is preferred.
To be considered for an Engineering Technician II, you must have at least two years of work experience related to the engineering technician duties listed.College-level coursework and/or degree in an engineering or related field reflecting the required abilities for this position may be substituted for the required work experience on a year-for-year basis. Materials testing is preferred.
To be considered for an Engineering Technician I, you must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent and a basic understanding of the concepts needed for this type of work.
At any level, you'll need to be able to work in all types of weather on a variety of uneven or slippery surfaces, have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and carry several items with a total weight of 50 pounds, and have a valid North Dakota Class D driver’s license in order to travel to project locations.
But most importantly, we're looking for someone who is passionate about construction and engineering, has strong organizational and communication skills, and is proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
