Job summary

Gwinnett County Public Schools is seeking a visionary leader to oversee the development, implementation, and evaluation of district-wide instructional technology and training programs. You will support the Executive Director of Instructional Technology and Innovation to transform classrooms and boost student engagement through data-driven strategies.

The role requires advanced degrees, strong leadership, and the ability to coordinate across divisions, vendors, and schools.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in a related field required.
• Specialists degree preferred; Doctoral degree preferred.
• 5 years of experience integrating technology in K-12 instruction required.
• 2 years in district or local school leadership role preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration across departments.

Responsibilities

• Lead district-wide instructional technology planning and evaluation.
• Support cross-divisional development of tech integration goals.
• Align programs with national/state standards.
• Direct professional development for instructional technology coaches.
• Oversee technology training offerings and labs scheduling.
• Communicate department direction to stakeholders.
• Manage budget and personnel in instructional technology.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
