Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a District Support Pharmacist to cover pharmacist scheduling gaps across stores in the district, under the guidance of the Pharmacy Manager and Rx District Leader. You will help manage and operate the pharmacy teams, ensuring safe and accurate dispensing and patient care.

The role requires active pharmacist licensure in the applicable state, travel within the district, and strong commitment to patient safety and service.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI)
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Travel within a reasonable radius to support market staffing as business needs require.
• Cover pharmacist shifts across stores in the district under direction of Pharmacy Manager and Rx District Leader.
• Oversee the pharmacy and serve as the Pharmacy Manager’s proxy during bench shifts.
• Support safe and accurate prescription fulfillment following pharmacy workflow procedures.
