Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a part-time District Support Pharmacist to cover pharmacist scheduling gaps and support pharmacy teams across the district. You will operate under the Pharmacy Manager's guidance, ensuring safe dispensing and high quality patient care.

Responsibilities include travel within a reasonable radius, immunizations, inventory oversight, and maintaining compliance with federal/state regulations. This role emphasizes empathy, teamwork, and adherence to CVS Health policies.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI)
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list

Responsibilities

• Travel within a reasonable radius to support market staffing as business needs require
• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
• Concentration and focus to ensure patient safety and accurate dispensing
• Customer service and teamwork orientation to support patients and colleagues
• Effective communication with patients and team members
• Mathematical reasoning for dispensing quantities and supplies
• Problem resolution in patient or colleague interactions
• Physical demands including lifting and standing for extended periods
• Compliance with applicable laws, policies, and procedures
