Job summary

Jubilee Academies is seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to maintain, repair, and install heating and cooling systems across district facilities. The role reports to the District Maintenance Supervisor and Facilities Director and requires coordination with contractors and campus staff.

The position is full-time, exempt, with 40 hours per week, and may involve travel between Jubilee campuses to ensure consistent climate control and safety standards across all buildings.

Qualifications

• HVAC Masters preferred and Texas driver's license.
• Experience in supervisory roles is required.
• Ability to perform HVAC repairs, maintenance, and installation.
• Proficient with hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Create a work environment that promotes positive energy and teamwork.
• Check airflows and pressure drops in systems.
• Oil or grease mechanical equipment, change oil in compressors, and replace belts.
• Check and repair condensers and ensure water treatment equipment works.
• Install compressors, read gauges, set thermostats, and adjust as needed.
• Maintain district-wide HVAC temperature settings and respond to emergencies.
• Follow energy and water conservation practices and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Repair, replace, or calibrate controls, thermostats, wiring, and fuses.
