Job summary

The Hun School of Princeton is seeking an experienced HVAC Maintenance and Technology Technician to join the Facilities Department. The role covers diagnosing, repairing, and preventive maintenance of all campus HVAC systems, reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor.

It is a full-time, benefits-eligible 12-month position with a requirement to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends. Qualifications include at least 5 years in HVAC, HVAC certifications (EPA/Black Seal preferred), DOAS

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years experience in HVAC maintenance or related field.
• HVAC certifications preferred (EPA, Black Seal).
• Experience with DOAS and VRF systems a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on all HVAC equipment campus-wide.
• Plan, organize, and schedule work efficiently.
• Troubleshoot and order parts/materials; document maintenance logs.
• Perform routine and emergency HVAC service for heat/air in all buildings.
• Ensure safe operation and compliance; may work evenings, nights, weekends, and events as needed.
