Job summary

PASSAIC BOARD OF EDUCATION's DIVISION OF OPERATIONS in Passaic, New Jersey seeks an HVAC Technician with a minimum of three years of HVAC experience. The role requires a High School Diploma, NJ driver’s license, Master HVACR Contractor license, and EPA 608 certification within three years of employment.

The technician will perform maintenance and repair tasks across facilities, ensure safety and compliance, manage logs, and coordinate with the Director of Operations and Facilities team.

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) years of HVAC experience.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organization skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs per codes and regulations.
• Maintain and repair HVAC systems and related equipment; obtain permits and approvals as needed.
• Ensure safety, code compliance, and proper documentation of work.
