Job summary

Global Water Technology, Inc. (GWT) is seeking a District Manager for its Water & Energy Services division to lead a multi-territory portfolio, align regional strategy with district execution, and drive sustained growth.

The DM ensures staffing, processes, and client delivery meet the company's standards while scaling the district's business. You will oversee district strategy, financial performance, talent development, and cross-functional integration, partnering with Territory Managers and

Qualifications

12–20+ years of progressive experience in water treatment, energy services, industrial services, or a related technical field.
Demonstrated success leading multi-team or multi-territory operations with direct accountability for operational performance and financial outcomes.
Strong understanding of industrial water treatment systems including boilers, cooling towers, closed‑loop systems, and water safety programs.
Proven ability to analyze operational and financial data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable improvement plans.
Experience recruiting, developing, and managing leaders and technical professionals in a field-based organization.
Track record of improving client retention, service quality, and team performance in complex operating environments.
Ability to balance strategic planning with hands‑on operational leadership and problem solving.
Strong communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills across technical, commercial, and executive audiences.
Certified Water Technologist (CWT) or similar credential preferred.

Responsibilities

District Strategy and Planning: Develop district-level growth and staffing plans aligned with regional strategy.
Financial Leadership: Review district P&L performance, margins, and cost structure.
Talent and Leadership Development: Recruit, develop, and retain Territory Managers and high‑potential leaders.
Operational Oversight: Ensure consistent execution of GWT technical standards, service models, and client experience.
Cross-Functional Integration: Coordinate with sales, technical services, and operations.
Mergers, Acquisitions, and Integration: Support integration of acquired teams and client portfolios within the district.
