Job summary

Hillman Group in Kentucky is seeking a District Retail Merchandiser to coordinate field projects, including new store sets, re-sets, and conversions, delivering value-added services to customers within the district.

You will plan with the District Manager, manage displays per plan-o-gram, lead temporary staff, maintain store relations, and travel 80-90% of the time while handling paperwork and keeping records within budget.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Two years merchandising experience in a retail environment.
• Knowledge of Word, Excel, and Windows.
• Knowledge of plan-o-grams and ability to work from plans efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate projects with District Manager and schedule initiatives.
• Assemble product displays per plan-o-gram and new item placement.
• Lead temporary staff and third-party merchandisers.
• Maintain strong store-level customer relations.
• Back up to Territory Managers as needed.
• Submit paperwork and reports promptly.
• Track records and manage expenses within budgets.
• Stay current on products, field operations, and customer specs.
• Travel frequently within district or region.
• Work includes walking, standing, bending, twisting, climbing, and lifting.
• Occasional exposure to dust and dirty conditions.
