Job summary

Bristol Myers Sqibb in Indianapolis, IN seeks a Senior District Business Manager to lead a field team of Therapeutic Area Specialists. You will coach, recruit, and develop talent to drive the Psychiatry portfolio and meet sales targets.

This on-site role requires strong leadership and strategic execution across matrix functions. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with extensive pharma sales experience, including reimbursement and access knowledge, and a proven leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with a minimum of 10 years of pharmaceutical industry experience or other related industry experience.
• Understanding of Neuropsychiatry environment, call points, and industry trends preferred.
• 5+ years as a District Business Manager in Pharmaceutical Sales or equivalent leadership experience preferred.
• Pharma experience including reimbursement, access, and distribution knowledge.
• Proven track record of inspiring and leading teams to meet or exceed goals.
• Must meet “Qualified Driver” criteria per company requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of TASs to drive adoption of portfolio products.
• Recruit, onboard, and train TASs for launch readiness.
• Coach on competencies like scientific agility, customer-centric mindset, and digital capabilities.
• Own TAS learning journey and drive continuous improvement in core skills and behavior.
• Champion adoption of new capabilities and tools (e.g., CE^3 analytics).
• Plan strategic initiatives including promo and budget at HCP level.
• Engage insights to prioritize accounts and develop key strategies.
