Job summary

FedEx Freight, Inc. in Round Rock, TX is seeking a Facility Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance personnel, coordinate preventive and corrective work, and ensure asset readiness across the district.

You will drive safety, compliance, and cost-effective maintenance planning, monitor performance metrics, and partner with Operations to sustain uninterrupted service. Strong leadership and vendor management experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with two years of maintenance leadership.
• Experience managing maintenance vendors, service contracts, and projects preferred.
• Knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Facility Maintenance Technicians, fostering a culture of safety and accountability.
• Oversee district maintenance operations, ensuring timely work orders, PMs, and repairs.
• Monitor performance metrics (aging, response times, backlog, quality).
• Partner with Operations to prioritize maintenance needs and support operations.
• Manage vendor performance and relationships, driving cost efficiency.
• Control maintenance spends through cost analysis and resource optimization.
• Coordinate daily operations, scheduling, and project execution.
• Oversee payroll, timekeeping, work orders, reporting, and inventory.
• Facilitate team communication to review performance and safety.
• Comply with laws, regulations, and company policies.
