The Flint River Council in the south metro Atlanta area seeks a District Executive to grow Scouting by recruiting volunteers, expanding membership, building partnerships, and delivering quality programs that change lives.

You will work with a volunteer board to reach program, fundraising, and participation goals, extend programs to community groups, secure funding, and manage schedules that include evening and weekend activities. Competitive salary and benefits offered.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Willing to meet Scouting America’s leadership and membership standards.
• Able to travel for training at least once a year for one to two weeks.
• Evening activities and weekend work are frequently required to achieve objectives.

Responsabilidades

• Recruit volunteers and train them to participate in youth programs.
• Achieve goals through program development, fundraising, and membership growth.
• Extend programs to religious, civic, fraternal, and community groups through volunteers.
• Secure financial support and manage campaign efforts to meet financial goals.
• Coordinate with volunteers and staff to ensure program sites are served.
• Communicate goals to the public and maintain relationships with leaders.
• Work long and irregular hours to meet district objectives.
