Job summary

The Atlanta Area Council, Scouting America is seeking a District Executive to guide a district, recruit and train volunteers, and grow youth programs across communities. You will lead fundraising efforts, develop partnerships, and ensure program quality with strong volunteer management.

This full-time, on-site role in the Cumberland area emphasizes leadership, outreach, and training. The position offers a total compensation up to $66,700 plus bonuses and a 403(b) match to support nonprofit work

Qualifications

Strong background in marketing, fundraising, and program development.
Experience in nonprofit organizations, fundraising, customer service, management, or sales.
Comfortable with public speaking and interacting with diverse audiences; excellent people skills.
Self-motivated with solid time management and strong organizational abilities in management, budgeting, and planning.
Committed to personal and professional productivity with high ethical standards.

Responsibilities

Promote, supervise, and work with local volunteers to sustain and grow programs.
Identify, recruit, train, guide, and inspire volunteers to engage in youth programs.
Develop programs through fundraising, membership recruitment, and community partnerships.
Secure financial support and achieve income targets for camps and activities.
Recruit leadership for finance campaigns to meet organizational needs.
Ensure program sites are served through volunteers and regular training events.
