Mississippi Riverlands Council in Meridian, MS is seeking a District Executive to lead fundraising and volunteer development for 28 counties in Central, East, and Southwest Mississippi.

The role involves working with a volunteer board, training leaders, and coordinating programs, meetings, and events with flexible hours. Beneficial experience includes fundraising, Scouting, and strong people skills.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Attained 21 years of age or older.
• Ability to work varied hours including evenings and weekends.
• Ability to travel for training at least once a year for one to two weeks.
• Scouting background is helpful but not required.
• Background checks will be conducted.

Mansioni

• Work with a volunteer board of directors and community leaders to recruit, train, guide, and inspire involvement in youth programs.
• Ensure program sites are served through volunteers, regular leader meetings, training events and activities.
• Collaborate with adult volunteers and oversee training for their roles.
• Be a good role model and maintain relationships with professionals and volunteers.
