Job summary

Gwinnett County Public Schools seeks an Executive Director of Multilingual Learners to direct the district's multilingual programs, supervise staff, and drive instructional quality for English Learners across K-12. The role requires leadership, collaboration with families, and grant management expertise.

The ideal candidate will possess a Georgia leadership certificate, ESOL endorsement preferred, and advanced degrees.

Qualifications

• Must hold or be eligible for a Georgia Educator's Certificate in Educational Leadership and/or Support Personnel License (Required).
• ESOL endorsement or ESOL P-12 (Preferred).
• Master's Degree required; Specialist/Doctoral Degrees preferred.
• Experience directing and evaluating district English Learner programs and services.

Responsibilities

• Direct development, revision, and continuous quality improvement of instructional programs for English Learners.
• Supervise student support services for Multilingual Learners and communicate with diverse families and stakeholders.
• Lead professional development for teachers of multilingual learners and manage program grants.
• Coordinate ESOL program with other curricular areas and districts to meet student goals.
