Job summary

The Maryland Department of Transportation's State Highway Administration is seeking a District Equipment Training Coordinator (Facility Maintenance Supervisor I) in District 4, Baltimore County. The role coordinates equipment training, certifies readiness for testing, and schedules annual trainings across the district with MTCT.

The position requires a high school diploma, 5 years in related trades, and a Maryland Class A CDL, with a year in a lead or trainer role.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduation from a standard high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.
• Experience: Five (5) years in construction, facilities maintenance or skilled trades; 1 year in lead role.
• Selective Qualification: 1 year of shop trainer experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate training for Facility Maintenance Technicians and Heavy Equipment Maintenance Technicians.
• Serve as district liaison to MTCT and schedule equipment training.
• Certify that each person is ready for testing prior to scheduling.
• Maintain records and paperwork for FMTs and HEMTs in the District.
