Qualifications

• Seven years of professional planning experience in local, regional, or state planning including two years in a supervisory capacity.
• Two years of experience as an Environmental Planning Supervisor (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration).
• A Master’s degree in planning or one of the environmental sciences and five years of professional planning experience, including two years in a supervisory capacity.
• Any equivalent combination of experience and training.

Responsibilities

• Environmental Review: Coordinate environmental analyses and guide preparation of required reports.
• Permit Management: Support waterway permitting activities and ensure permit requirements are met.
• Program Compliance: Assist with monitoring and improving district programs related to Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System and Strategic Environmental Management Program.
• Policy Development: Help shape district policies for stormwater control measure design and maintenance.
• Mitigation Oversight: Manage district commitments involving environmental mitigation and related inspections.
