Job summary
Truckee Sanitary District is seeking a District Engineer to lead the Engineering Department and manage the Capital Improvement Program for wastewater and related infrastructure in the Truckee area.
The District Engineer will supervise professional, technical, and administrative staff, oversee reviews and inspections of development, and ensure compliance with District standards to protect public health and the environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field required.
- Five years of professional engineering experience in water/wastewater.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the Engineering Department and Capital Improvement Program.
- Review, permit, and inspect development to ensure compliance with District standards.
