A District Director plays a vital leadership role in managing district office operations and activities. A District Director could work closely with the Member, Chief of Staff, Legislative Director, and Communications Director to establish strategies, plans, and activities for the Member in the district. A District Director could regularly attend events and meetings with (and on behalf of) the Member in the local community. They could also manage and oversee the performance of the district team (e.g., constituent service representative/caseworker and/or staff assistant).

In this role, a District Director could be expected to:

  • Ensure that district office strategies and operating plans align with the Member’s strategic vision and goals
