Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Illinois Class B driver’s license with no restrictions.
• Able to operate district delivery vehicles safely.
• Knowledge of safety and traffic regulations.
• Able to load/unload and secure materials.
• Ability to use computers and email.
• Follow delivery routes and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate delivery vehicles on established routes between district facilities.
• Deliver District materials, supplies, food, mail, and other items.
• Load/unload materials using carts, pallet jacks, or forklift as needed.
• Maintain vehicles, perform basic inspections, and report issues.
• Verify deliveries and communicate discrepancies.
• Coordinate with district staff and vendors on deliveries and schedules.
• Document deliveries via District systems and emails.
• Assist with snow/ice removal and grounds duties as needed.
• Adapt routes based on operational needs.
