Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with accounting and finance coursework.
• CPA preferred; minimum 2 years’ bookkeeping or accounting experience.
• Experience in school finance is preferred; proficient with Microsoft products.

Responsibilities

• Process, audit, and compile payroll data (hours, taxes, insurance, union dues).
• Process annual salary data for all employees and review timesheets.
• Process stipends, bonuses, and voluntary deductions; manage tax withholdings.
• Prepare and distribute payroll checks; research irregularities.
• Maintain accounts payable; reconcile and manage district records.
• Assist with annual audits and ensure compliance with district policies.
