Job summary

Sephora USA is seeking a senior Asset Protection leader based in Southern New Jersey to reduce shrink, manage risk, and drive operational excellence across multiple stores.

You will recruit, train, and lead a district team, partner with store leadership and corporate teams, and deploy training programs focused on safety, audits, and loss prevention best practices. Strong分析 skills and decision making are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of asset protection or loss prevention experience in a multi‑unit retail environment or equivalent leadership role.
• Proven experience handling sensitive asset protection matters with discretion and integrity.
• Demonstrated ability to navigate emergencies and high‑risk situations effectively.
• Strong ability to build, coach, and lead proactive asset protection teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including experience presenting to senior leadership.
• Highly effective business partner with store leadership and cross functional teams.
• Ability to analyze data and trends to drive risk mitigation strategies.
• Effective decision making in complex and fast-paced situations.
• Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.
• Ability to develop clear, concise plans, policies, and procedures.
• Working knowledge of asset protection applications, retail store systems, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong interviewing capabilities; certification or training preferred.
• Understanding of criminal and civil law as it applies to the retail environment.
• Ability to travel approximately 75%, including local, overnight, and out of town travel.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute districtwide asset protection strategies that reduce shrink and drive operational improvement.
• Identify and resolve safety and profit risks in partnership with store and corporate leadership.
• Recruit, hire, train, and lead Asset Protection Partners across the district.
• Design and deliver training programs for Asset Protection Partners and store teams.
• Conduct regular store visits, audits, and assessments to ensure policy adherence.
• Lead investigations into shrink, internal theft, and fraud.
• Utilize reporting and analytics to identify trends and mitigate theft.
• Ensure asset protection systems are operational and properly used.
• Build relationships with law enforcement and retail partners to support ORC initiatives.
• Collaborate with Store Leadership and HR to resolve asset protection matters.
• Lead with Sephora values in all work and interactions.
