Job summary

Sephora is seeking an Asset Protection Partner in New Jersey to safeguard assets, support a safe environment for clients and staff, and work with store leadership and the District Asset Protection Manager. You will implement safety strategies, monitor activity, and handle incidents with professionalism.

Responsibilities include leading safety training, patrolling the floor, investigating losses with CCTV, and completing audits.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in retail operations, sales, hospitality, asset protection, or loss prevention.
• Understanding of retail operations, shrink, and safety.
• Ability to build trust and collaborate across teams.
• Conflict de-escalation skills.
• Comfortable with CCTV and reporting tools.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.
• Physically able to lift and carry up to 50lbs.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety and awareness; lead or join meetings and training.
• Spend 75-80% of time on the selling floor to deter theft and support service.
• Collaborate with managers to align shrink reduction and safety initiatives.
• Use CCTV and reporting tools to identify and investigate losses.
• De-escalate incidents professionally prioritizing safety and client experience.
• Complete audits and prepare reports for asset protection.
• Adhere to all asset protection policies and licensing requirements.
• Support multiple locations as needed.
• Represent Sephora in court if required.
