Job summary

Sephora Indianapolis is seeking a District Asset Protection Manager to lead asset protection strategies across multiple Sephora stores, reducing shrink and strengthening operational excellence through data-driven decisions. You will recruit, train, and lead a district team of Asset Protection Partners united by protecting people, products, and the Sephora brand.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of asset protection or loss prevention experience in a multi-unit retail environment or equivalent leadership role.
• Proven experience handling sensitive asset protection matters with discretion and integrity.
• Demonstrated crisis management abilities in emergencies and high-risk situations.
• Strong ability to build, coach, and lead proactive asset protection teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; experience presenting to senior leadership.
• Collaborates effectively with store leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to analyze data and trends to drive risk mitigation strategies.
• Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Shrink Reduction: Develop and execute districtwide asset protection strategies that reduce shrink.
• Risk Management: Identify and resolve safety and profit risks with store and corporate leadership.
• Team Leadership: Recruit, hire, train, and lead Asset Protection Partners across the district.
• Training & Development: Design and deliver training on safety, audits, and best practices.
• Operational Compliance: Conduct regular store visits, audits, and assessments to ensure standards.
• Investigations: Lead investigations into shrink, internal theft, fraud, and crime.
• Data & Analytics: Use reporting tools to identify trends and mitigate theft.
• Systems Oversight: Ensure CCTV, alarms, and locks are operational.
• External Partnerships: Build relationships with law enforcement and security partners.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Store Leadership, HR, and corporate teams.
• Values-Driven Leadership: Demonstrate Sephora values in all work.
